This beautiful Black Oak Slab is perfect for furniture or countertops. It is locally sourced and milled; producing a solid and durable piece of wood. All of our slabs are kiln dried to furniture grade spec below 12%.

Black oak is durable and versatile in many applications including tables, bar tops, and general decor. This wood takes stain well and finishes easily! Black oak is part of the Red Oak family, and is a unique and beautiful wood for all your furniture and building needs.

This slab contains some sticker stain, which will improve with sanding but cannot be guaranteed to be eliminated.This slab also contains voids and cracks which can be repaired with traditional woodworking techniques or epoxy.
